Born Global : May 2020

From the CEO

I hope this finds you healthy and safe. With so many Advance.org members at home (some unexpectedly) and others isolated overseas, we have been inundated with examples of Australians supporting the response to Covid19 around the world. You have asked to be more connected with what’s happening in Australia. In response, we have released a new website and are holding frequent roundtablesvirtually of coursewith inspiring global Australians. Next week we deliver our first Global Digital Town Hall with guests registering from around the world. Our team is working through the incredible submissions for the Advance Awards 2020 and have exciting plans for an expanded Advance NextGen Program.

With so many of you seeking a social connection, we are hosting a Musical Happy Hour with SongDivision in the USA. If you prefer a quieter conversation, we are hosting the first Advance #Coffee Hour for global Australians who have plans to return or have arrived back in Australia. We always want to hear what’s happening in your part of the world, so drop us a note or share your observations like John Dobbin did recently with his postcard from OmanUntil next time and with our best wishes. – Maria MacNamara.
